Storybook Gala

6, 2008 - Spread the Word Nevada:
Kids to Kids will host its Sixth Annual Storybook
Gala on September 27, 2008, 5:30 p.m., at the Venetian Resort
Hotel and Casino.
The
event, entitled "One Million Books, One Million Dreams,
One Million Possibilities," will honor the distribution
of Kids to Kids' one millionth
book to at-risk schools in Las Vegas.
An
Opportunity to Help Create Possibilities
We
invite you to join in creating limitless possibilities for
at-risk kids by participating in this high-profile event as
a gala sponsor. Because the gala is underwritten by The Venetian
Foundation, 100% of the evening's proceeds will benefit Kids
to Kids.

Gala
Highlights
This
year's gala will feature entertainment and a live auction.
Emcees for the evening will be Colleen May (KLAS TV Channel
8 anchor) and Steven Budin (KVBC TV Channel 3 Financial Analyst).
Mezzo-soprano Juline Barole-Gilmore will take to the stage
to perform during the gala.
Among
the other event highlights will be a cocktail reception featuring
a "Dreams Come True Library" drawing. Delightful
prizes will be tucked among the pages of our "library
books" awaiting selection by our lucky gala patrons at
$25 per chance!
In
addition, there will be a "Corks for Kids" wine
tasting, a kick-off celebration which marks the launch of
a year-long fundraising campaign by Lee's Discount Liquors.

us continue our mission to advance early childhood literacy
through our various programs in Southern Nevada's at-risk
communities. Since 2001, supporters just like you have helped
us change the lives of more than 90,000 children by providing
them more than 15,000 books each month.
