"Pennies
for Pages One-Hour Read-a-Thon" Benefits Kids to Kids
and Nevada's At-Risk Children
January
26, 2007 - For many of the at-risk children served by Kids
to Kids, reading one page of a book is a sign of
success and a reason to be proud!
The
"Pennies for Pages One Hour Read-a-Thon" will make
reading a priority in thousands of homes throughout the valley.
This year's read-a-thon is part of Kids
to Kids' 6th birthday festivities and is being
celebrated throughout Southern Nevada in conjunction with
Nevada Reading Week, February 26 to March 2, 2007.

As
the culminating activity, Kids to
Kids is once again hosting a Children's Literacy

be a day of storytellers, children's authors, local celebrities,
literacy-related activities, games, prizes, wonderful food
provided at no charge and, of course, books!
The
Providence event happens on March
3. Mark your calendar!
Providence
is located at the I-215 and Hualapai. Click

As
a part of our birthday celebration, Kids
to Kids hopes that you will support the children's
reading progress one page at a time, one penny at a time.
Your pledges will make a difference to the 12,000 children
and families currently served by Kids
to Kids each month and will enable the program
