First Book, a national literacy group, came to Las Vegas in February and distributed 250,000 books to regional literacy projects. The books were from Simon & Schuster and Kids to Kids helped with finding warehouse space and volunteers. Kids to Kids received close to 46,000 brand new books from this effort.
