Inspire a Child: "Pennies for Pages Read-a-Thon"
Benefits At-Risk Children

29, 2012 - With the help of our generous supporters and community
partners, Spread the Word Nevada
is changing the lives of at-risk elementary school children
throughout Southern Nevada.
Students
in schools "adopted" by our program receive books
on a monthly basis and are discovering the joy attributed
to reading and educational success.
During Nevada Reading Week (Feb. 27 to Mar. 2, 2012), more
than 23,500 students in our 27 "adopted" schools
will participate in the "Pennies for Pages Read-a-Thon."
Students
will set aside time to read as many pages as they can. Encourage
reading by sponsoring their progress with "Pennies for
Pages."
